Gill, a forensic doctor in the frontline services of the UN, investigates the intricate circumstances of an accident that led to the death of four refugee teenage sisters. Gill and her long term comrade, Sarah -- a seasoned trauma psychiatrist -- dig their way to find out what happened that night. Their encounter with a troubled young woman, Aida, shifts their focus to this war-thrown family and soon to Aida’s relationship with Gill’s son, Jan. As Jan goes missing, Gill finds herself confronting the tough decision of saving Aida or saving her own son.
